We are currently in the studio working on a new CD.. The cd will have some great copy songs on it along with some awesome original music that we feel really great about and can't wait for you all to hear it.

One of the most respected and popular recording facilities in Long Island is undergoing a name change: Suffolk Recording Studios
is the new name for what previously was known as Natural Sound Studios. Dan at Suffolk reported more information will be released as it becomes available; in the meantime, you can call the studio at

More from Suffolk Recording Studios: “We recently welcomed Buttered Soul to our studio,” reported Dan of the full-service facility. “The guys have recently checked in to record
a CD’s worth of tunes. The band, from eastern Long Island, features bass, drums, keys, guitar, sax, trumpet, and vocals. Many of the songs they are recording were performed during the band’s performance at the recent Riverhead Blues Festival.
They will be laying down tracks for the next few weeks.
Buttered Soul will be going in to the studio in the upcoming months to record their second CD. All the tunes on this CD will be original songs written by Bobby Canovas and rewritten by Buttered Soul. OK On the wire 7/20/2008:
The band has taken on a new look, with the addition of new members, Matt Demasi, Dan Chenet, the line up in the horn section. We have added Richie Kaminski back behind the drum kit, and Billy Cento back behind the keyboards doing what Billy does great!
The core sound of the band is in tact and sounding unbelievable.
Buttered Soul is very happy with the progress and looking forward to a fantastic time moving forward.
